About Us
What Sets Us Apart
Golden Isles Gymnastics was opened in 2004 by a team of international elite coaches. Our goals were to bring high quality gymnastics to the Golden Isles and to build an outstanding competitive team. Over the past 17 years we have raised over 180 AAU National champions and numerous State and Regional champions as well. Many of our gymnasts have gotten college scholarships, including a gymnast at Ole Miss, two UGA cheerleaders, and a cheerleader at the University of Miami. With all these accomplishments, it’s safe to say we have exceeded our goals.

With an ever-growing recreational program and a trophy winning team, in 2012 we needed an upgrade. We decided to create a facility like no other. We moved to a space four times bigger, so that it could handle all that we needed to accomplish. Construction began with 3 huge foam pits, the first in the city. Safety was our top priority, so we went above and beyond all standard gyms and created in-ground trenches to fit our 2 trampolines and 30ft Tumbl Trak so that they could be at floor level. To match the quality of our athletes and staff, we installed the best professional gymnastics equipment from the top company in the USA. Our preschool program was the place to be, so we built a custom preschool space just for the little ones, with all the same gymnastics equipment, just at a more manageable size. We even have the bounciest trampoline in all of the Golden Isles.
We created the best facility for our talented teams and for our amazing community. With the help of our incredible and talented staff we continue to reach beyond our goals every day. Welcome to GIG.

Our Facilities
Professional Gymnastics Equipment
Includes a full sized spring floor, four beams, one full bar set, an interchangeable pit bar, all the boys equipment, plus 3 huge foam pits!
Cheer Floor
Six full strips of 2-inch thick carpet bonded foam. Adjacent in-ground trampoline for training flips and other aerial skills.
Trampolines
Home of the bounciest trampoline in all of the Golden Isles! The competition style trampoline and 30 ft long trampoline (Tumbl Trak) both land into the pit. A recreational trampoline is located adjacent to the cheer floor.
Bounce Houses
3 huge bounce houses!
Two traditional bounce houses plus an
inflatable 2 person obstacle race!
Preschool Area
Fully padded area tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the main gym. All the essential gymnastics equipment, but at a more workable size.
Rock Climbing Wall
20ft rock climbing wall with over 100 separate pieces. Trainer assisted harness. Only available during birthday parties. Request at time of booking!
Party Room
Private party room for all event needs. Includes 3 huge picnic-style tables, kitchenette, separate bathroom, plenty of counter-top space, and extra chairs. Room for 50+
Best part is, it overlooks the entire facility!
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I register for classes?
You can register at the front desk during our regular business hours, or online through the parent portal!
How much is membership?
Membership is only $50 per child for the entire year, starting from the date you register. Membership is only required if you are signed up for classes. Must be renewed annually.
Are the age categories flexible?
Yes. All children mature at different times and at different rates. Exemptions will be on a case by case basis. All cases will take into account maturity level, natural ability, and previous skills.
When/How do I pay for class?
Payment for classes is due by the first class of the month. Payments can be made:

With a personal check. Please make your check payable to "GIG". A $30 fee will be added to all returned checks.
With a VISA, AX, MasterCard, or Discover card.
Due to limitations on class sizes, we request 30-days written notice if you decide to leave our program or take a break from classes. You may submit this in-person or through the mail.
What if I miss a payment?
A late fee of $25 will be applied to your account and the athlete can still participate that day. If no payment is made by the 3rd class, the student will not be allowed to participate.
What to wear to practice?
Leotards are preferred. Otherwise a t-shirt and shorts is fine, as long as they are not baggy. No shoes or socks required.
Can I purchase leotards at the gym?
Yes! We have high quality GK leotards, shorts, and other gear in multiple sizes and colors. Check the front desk for more info!
Can I try a class?
Yes! For a 1-hour class, the trial price is only $20. For a 2-hour long class, the trial price is $30. Limit to 1 trial per class. There is no registration fee for a trial class.
Gymnastics or Tumbling?
Both classes start with a similar warm-up and stretch. Gymnastics incorporates all traditional events including the bars, beams, floor, and vault. Tumbling is only floor skills, such as cartwheels, handstands, round-offs, and back handsprings.
Do you offer make-ups?
Make-ups will only be given on a case-by-case basis and must be requested. You may request a make-up from either the student's coach or the front desk staff.
